Dear Residents,

At present there is no change in the number of patients in Efrat - we stand at 27 patients. We know of 24 patients, however, and the discrepancy is due to the fact that not every patient has informed us of their diagnosis. It is crucial that you tell us if you have been diagnosed so that we can provide assistance, update people who may have been exposed, and respond accordingly to trends that are seen within the disease.

If you tell the Moked or the Neighborhood Teams about your diagnosis your information will remain confidential unless you choose to sign a confidentiality waiver.

The Ministry of Health has lessened the number of days that recovered patients must remain in isolation. We emphasize that this change only applies to patients who are in the recovery phase and who have received the approval of their doctor. There is no change in the number of isolation days required by someone who has been exposed to a verified patient - this number remains at 14 days from the time of exposure.

Due to the increasing number of cases throughout the country, the Religious Council is not currently signing permits for those who are collecting charity. Please keep this in mind.

If there are no changes, the next update will be sent out on Sunday.

Please continue to follow the rules! Wear a mask, keep social distance, wash your hands!

We will keep you updated,

The Public Information Team
