Update for Monday April 2th at 13:00
Dear Residents,
The number of patients has decreased to 9, and there are now 54 people in Efrat who have recovered.
We are currently finishing our preparations for Yom HaZikaron, which will take place tonight, and Yom HaAtzmaut which will begin tomorrow evening.
This year, we will be marking these days in a different manner. Later in the day, we will publish a separate announcement detailing the times of the ceremonies as well as a variety of activities that have been planned for Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut.
A Yom HaZikaron ceremony will be held this evening with a limited number of authorized attendees. We must ask the general public to avoid physically attending the ceremony, but we invite everyone to watch it live via the Facebook pages of the Council, the Matnas, or the mayor.
In accordance with the Prime Minister's instructions - starting at 16:00 today, it is not permitted to visit cemeteries or memorial sites.
Minyanim on Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut are permitted with up to 19 people, wearing masks and standing 2 meters apart, in public spaces within 500 meters from home.
From Tuesday, April 28, at 17:00 until Wednesday, April 29th at 20:00, the restrictions will be increased: Everyone must celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut in their homes.
Social gatherings are prohibited, including get-togethers with neighbors.
One may only leave home only for necessary reasons such as picking up essential medicines and products nearby.
There will be no public transportation. Food stores will be closed, so please plan accordingly.
The Israeli police have begun to enforce the rule of wearing masks in public. Please follow the instructions.
We will continue to update,
