Daily update, for Friday December 18th at 12:30
Dear Residents,
As of today there are 19 patients in Efrat. All patients have been investigated and private contacts have been notified. Yesterday, about 30 students from Aseh Chayil went into isolation following exposure to a verified patient.
We are grateful to the many residents who have gotten tested. We continue to maintain the green color that allows us to continue with minimal restrictions.
The Home Front Command testing center comes once a week, since there are always several changes in the hours and the days when they will be here, we publish the information only when a final decision has been issued. Testing centers around the country are updated here: https://www.oref.org.il/12605-17147-he/pakar.aspx
People can also get tested at the kuppot choliml even if they don't have symptoms.
Yesterday, public libraries were given permission to open under certain restrictions. The Efrat library will open to the public with guidelines. We want to take this opportunity to thank the director of the library, Shulamit Marseino, and the entire staff that enabled library activity to continue creatively for so many months.
As Shabbat enters and national vaccinations begin, we ask you to continue maintaining the guidelines, wear masks, avoid gatherings, and maintain distance. We will continue to update,
The Public Information Team
