Update for Thursday, July 2, 19:55

Dear Residents,

We recently learned that there is a resident in Efrat who tested positive for Coronavirus.

We thank Evyatar Silvetzky, a resident of Zayit, who has agreed to publish his name out of communal responsibility. Evyatar has not been in Efrat, he has been at Yeshivat Torah U’Mada in Jerusalem, and those that have had contact with him have been informed. We wish him a quick and complete recovery. We ask you to respect his privacy and not to contact him at this time.

With the massive increase in the number of cases throughout the country we see that it is necessary to remind everyone of the guidelines and the important information.

The Ministry of Health and the Kupot Cholim do not inform the Council of the names or the number of patients within Efrat. This information is important to us, as it allows us to assist patients and their families. We can only get this information from the patient him/herself. So we request that anyone who receives a diagnosis should please call the Moked or the Neighborhood Teams and a representative will be in touch to guide the patient through the process.

We thank the residents who are ready to reveal their names if necessary, and thus reduce the time it takes to let others know that they should enter into isolation. Quick detection and isolation are the keys to controlling the virus.

Any resident who has been tested must stay in isolation until they receive their results, and must follow the instructions of their family doctor.

A resident who has been with a verified patient for roughly 15 minutes within a distance of 2 meters must go into isolation and report it to the Ministry of Health using the following link: https://govforms.gov.il/mw/forms/QuarantineForExposees%40health.gov.il

These days, as patient numbers are rising rapidly we remind everyone to take personal responsibility to follow the guidelines.

Please be sure to wear a mask, maintain good personal hygiene and social distancing.

For your convenience, we are attaching the telephones of the Neighborhood Team leaders..
