New Patient Update, Sunday, September 20, at 11:30 p.m.

Dear Residents,

During the holiday, the number of patients in Efrat rose to 57.

Since the end of Rosh Hashanah, new patients have been investigated by the Council’s teams, and each patient’s contacts have been personally informed. We are publishing the routes that include public places that may require additional residents to go into isolation.

Despite the closure, it is important to update the Neighborhood Teams or the Moked if you receive a positive test result. That will help us to quickly interrupt the chain of infection.

The following residents have agreed to publish their names.

Ira Hauser, resident of the Dekel neighborhood. Residents who have been in contact with him since September 9th must enter isolation.

Moran Dahan, a resident of the Dagan, residents who have been in contact with her since September 14th must enter isolation.

Rachel Domenich, resident of the Zayit. Residents who have been in contact with her since September 12th must enter isolation.

Ayal Smith, a resident of the Dagan, a student at Orot Etzion Boys School, in ז’4. The class is already in isolation that will now be extended until September 28th. Notices have been sent to parents.

Another student has been diagnosed from the Chativa Tzeira class ב’6, and therefore the isolation for this class has been extended until September 30th.

Naama Gibor, from the Gefen, a student in ז’3 at Orot Etzion Girls School. The class must go into isolation until October 1st. Naama was in the extended capsule, so the ז’1 class must extend their isolation until September 30th.

Naama participated in the following bat mitzvah events:

On Tuesday, September 15th, the Finesilber family at Mishkan Tzipora, the Friends Capsule, 17:00-20:30.

On Wednesday, September 16th, at the Gantek family's bat mitzvah at Eretz Ayalim.

On Sunday, September 13th, a substitute teacher was at the Mamad school in the Tamar.

The teacher taught in 2 out of 3 capsules in third grade, and therefore Morah Shani’s 3rd grade capsule and the 3rd grade girls capsule must go into isolation until September 27th. A notice was sent out to the class on Thursday night.

If there were children who were not in school on September 13th, they do not need to go into isolation.

The Ministry of Health and Council representatives are still investigating the recent cases of infection among Orot Etzion girls and boys schools, as well as the issue of students who have been diagnosed who rode school busses.

When the investigations are complete an announcement will be made as to whether they must continue their isolation.

We will continue to update,

The Public Information Team
