Update for Thursday, October 15th at 21:00

Dear Residents,

At this time there are 25 verified patients in Efrat, 10 of whom are soldiers.

According to the traffic light plan, Efrat is now considered a green city.

We are closely monitoring the decisions of the Corona Cabinet, and we are preparing accordingly. At this time the guidelines are still vague. There are no clear decisions regarding the reduction of restrictions on red cities, and since much of the teaching staff in Efrat comes from different areas, including cities that are still defined as red, we must wait for further instructions. Once we receive the instructions we will analyze them and update the public as soon as possible.

As part of the fight against the coronavirus, the Home Front Command in Efrat will open a Corona Testing Center on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 20th and 21th, from 12:00 to 20:00 at the Youth Headquarters building (Mateh Noar) in the Te’ena.

The Corona Testing Center will allow anyone who wants to to get tested for the coronavirus without an appointment and without a doctor’s referral, even if they do not have symptoms.

It is important that people get tested so that we can get a true and up-to-date picture of residents who have corona, yet may be asymptomatic and unknowingly spreading the virus.

Early detection will help us to keep Efrat a green city.

Please note that getting tested at the Home Front Command's testing center will not require anyone to enter into isolation until the results are received.

We will continue to update you as decisions are made regarding the opening of maonot and ganim.
