Update for Wednesday, November 18 at 22:30

Dear Residents,

There are currently 4 verified patients in Efrat.

Today a staff member at Maon Emuna in the Dagan, who is a resident of Efrat, tested positive for the virus. In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, the children and staff of the "Gimulim" group must enter into isolation until November 30. Notices have been sent to parents.

Some of the children in the staff member's family have developed symptoms, and they are all in isolation. All family members have been tested and are awaiting results.

In order to stop the possible chain of infection, and after consultation with the Ministry of Health, it has been decided that Gan Afikim and Tzaharon Elal (consisting of the children from ganim Elal, Besor and Afikim) will not open tomorrow. The children and staff of Gan Afikim and the children and staff of tzaharon Elal have been asked to stay at home until the staff member's children receive their results.

Individual messages were sent to parents. We will update the parents again as soon as the results are received as to whether and until when isolation is needed.

We wish all patients a full recovery.

We'll continue to update,
