Daily Update for Thursday April 23rd, 15:00
Dear Residents,
There are currently 13 cases of Coronavirus in Efrat, and 50 patients who have recovered.
The number of patients continues to rise nationally, and there is still danger of another outbreak.
Everyday social gatherings are a dangerous source of contagion that we can control by restricting movement and maintaining social distance. Despite the difficulty, the guidelines must be followed.
Next week, Yom HaZikaron will commemorate those who have fallen in defense of Israel, and victims of terror. According to the decision of the Prime Minister, on the eve and the day of Yom HaZikaron (beginning on Monday, April 27, at 16:00 pm), we will not be permitted to leave home to visit cemeteries or memorial sites. Visits to cemeteries are permitted in the upcoming days.
From Tuesday, April 28, at 17:00 to Wednesday, April 29, at 20:00, residents are only permitted to leave home for essential reasons such as buying medicine and necessary products.
The Ministry of Health reiterates that citizens must celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut in their homes. The purchase of food will not be allowed on the eve of Yom HaAtzmaut and on the day itself.
As of Sunday April 19th, it was permitted to make minyanim in the streets. We ask you again to please be sure to follow the rules. Do not gather in groups of more than 19 people, and be sure to maintain a distance of 2 meters between people.
Today at 5pm you are invited to go out your gardens and balconies and to be part of our sporting activity! A drone will fly over the neighborhoods, and together we will create a video of sports in Efrat!
We will continue to update,
