Constructive conflict week
This week is marked as constructive conflict resolution week.
The project was established by Rabbi Dr. Daniel Roth, director of Mosaica, based on the historical date of the 9th of Adar.
According to talmudic sources, this date was the day when Beit Hillel and Beit Shamai stopped managing their differences in a constructive way ("for heaven's sake") and turned to violent ways.
The week takes place precisely around this date, in order to emphasize our need, as individuals and as a society, to refine the values and skills required during a dispute or conflict.
This week, activities will be held for children and youth throughout Efrat, where they will receive tools for proper discussion and ways of dealing with conflicts.
We invite you to follow the publications and take part in the activities of the Efrat Community Mediation and Dialogue Center.
