This form is intended for volunteers to register details that are important to us as an authority so that we can keep in touch with you as well as for volunteer insurance by National Insurance. 

Volunteer insurance is a right of the volunteer the same way as it is for work insurance. The National Insurance (Bituach Leumi) covers only physical injuries that happen during or on the way to volunteering.

National Insurance has certain criteria according to which they determine who is considered a volunteer and who is not. On the Council's website there is a link to the National Insurance website where the criteria is detailed.
