Oded Revivi
Oded Revivi is the 5th Mayor of Efrat. He was born in 1969, and has 6 children with his wife, Lisa. Oded was first elected as Mayor in 2008, and he was reelected in 2013 and 2018.
Prior to his election as mayor, Oded practiced law, specializing in litigation and real estate transactions. Oded has a master's degree in public policy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
In February 2014, Oded was appointed Chairman of the Board of the Society for Economy and Insurance. In October 2017, he became a member of the board of the Israel Antiquities Authority. In March 2019, he was appointed chairman of FMA - Human Resources Development.
As a lawyer, Oded provided legal assistance on a voluntary basis through the Legal Assistance Division of the Ministry of Justice, and the "Schar Mitzvah" project of the Bar Association.
Oded serves in the army reserves with the rank of lieutenant colonel. Under his leadership, his tank battalion was awarded a certificate of excellence by the President of Israel.
In 2013, he was chosen to be a mentor in a training program for the heads of new authorities, initiated by the Ministry of the Interior, and in collaboration with the Center for Local Government, the School of Public Policy and Government at the Hebrew University. The purpose of this program is to assist new mayors upon entering this challenging role. Oded currently serves as a mentor for two new mayors, and he also mentors CEOs for local authorities.
In 2020, Oded was chosen by the Jerusalem Post as one of the fifty people of the year.
