Dear residents,
We are on the fourth day of the Iron Swords war, praying for the safety and success of our soldiers and all the emergency and rescue forces and the thousands of volunteers who support the war effort.
In Efrat, too, we see dozens of voluntary initiatives responding to the many and varied needs at this time.  The council's volunteer group is working to bring together the multitude  of volunteering initiatives that have arisen from you residents and help to effectively connect the initiatives with the volunteers.  A significant part of the initiatives is managed and carried out by our dear youth who are lending a hand to the elderly population, the families of those called to reserves, to children with special needs and much more.
The neighborhood emergency volunteer teams stand by our side and together we are addressing community requests and needs and working to respond to each request.
In the last few hours, we started preparing to receive about 2000 residents of the South.  We have distributed a registration form to the families who wish to host. 70 of the residents are already on their way to us and we will update later on their needs and requests.
The supermarkets and makolets in Efrat are doing their best to provide their services but are dealing with the limitations of the limited manpower and the partial arrival of supplies.  In this link you can see the updated opening hours for every day....
Medical services: As of this stage, all health insurance funds are open as usual.  It is recommended to make sure that there are appointments for tests and professional doctors before your arrival.
The police services are also provided as usual: 23:00 - 19:00 on weekdays.
Prayers and minyans: In accordance with the instructions of the Home Front Command, it is possible to open shuls in Efrat with the number of people not exceeding 50 people and on the condition that the time to arrive at a standard protected area does not exceed a minute and a half.  Please organize accordingly.
At this stage all youth movement activities can take place only remotely.
