Proper Behavior During an Alarm
An alarm is an ascending and descending siren activated by the Home Front Command when missile fire is detected. Today’s alarm systems make it possible to identify the area where the missile is most likely to fall, and an alarm is activated only in that location. In addition to the alarm, the radio and television will broadcast the areas that are required to take shelter.
The area of Efrat is "Yehuda - 206"
When an alarm sounds, go to the safe space as quickly as possible.
Guidelines:
Those inside a building should enter the safe room, stairwell, or inner room and close doors and windows.
Those outside - if you are in an area with buildings, enter a building or a nearby shelter.
In an open area, lie on the ground and protect your head with your hands.
Those in vehicles - stop at the side of the road, get out of the vehicle and enter a nearby building or shelter. If you cannot get to a building or shelter, get out of the vehicle, lie on the ground and protect your head with your hands.
Public Transportation - Bus passengers:
Traveling between cities - When an alarm sounds, the driver must stop at the side of the road to open the doors, passengers must bend below the line of windows and protect their heads with their hands.
After 10 minutes the driver may continue driving.
Traffic on urban roads - When an alarm sounds, the driver must stop at the side of the road, passengers must get off if there is a nearby building/safe space. If it is not possible to get off the bus or if there is no nearby structure, passengers must bend down below the window line and protect their heads with their hands.
After 10 minutes the drive can continue driving.
Public Transportation - Train Passengers:
The driver must slow down the train to 30 km/h for 10 minutes, and passengers must bend down below the window line and protect their heads.
Stay in the safe space for 10 minutes.
Reminders:
Do not approach unidentified objects. If you see a rocket/missile on the ground, stay away and keep others away. Inform security forces.
Do not gather in the area of the attack, as additional rockets may be fires.
