We light a candle in their memory.


 

During the Corona period, in preparation for Yom Hazikaron, we distributed the "From Remembrance to Independence" kit. It included a memorial candle bearing the name of a fallen Efrat resident, through which the residents were given an opportunity to get to know and feel closer to the local bereaved families despite each and every person needing to isolate themselves in their homes.

In light of the protests and tensions in recent months, we thought it was time for Efrat residents to go out and meet more people. We decided to distribute the kits in several locations throughout the city which would allow people to meet people and give each other a hug and a boost.

Unfortunately, this year the number of bereaved family in Efrat grew following the murder of Lucy, Maia and Rina Dee HY"D.

Their names were added to the memorial candles that are distributed in the kits, but unfortunately, despite great efforts, the commemorative plaques on the heroism path have not yet been installed at this stage.

We invite you to come and pick up a kit that includes a candle and a flag at one of the following distribution centers:
