Registration for Educational Institutions
Registration for educational institutions for the 5787 school year will be carried out according to your child’s age and the residential address registered with the Ministry of Interior. Registration will take place from 1 Shevat 5786 (January 19, 2026) through 21 Shevat 5786 (February 8, 2026), and will be completed online via the Council’s website.

Registration ages for the 5787 school year:
Age 3 – January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023 (8 Tevet 5783 – 19 Tevet 5784)
Age 4 – January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022 (28 Tevet 5782 – 7 Tevet 5783)
Age 5 – January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021 (17 Tevet 5781 – 27 Tevet 5782)
Grade 1 – January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020 (4 Tevet 5780 – 16 Tevet 5781)

Children born on or after January 1, 2024 cannot register.

Additional notes
*New residents of Efrat –
Residents who have recently moved to Efrat and have not yet updated their address in the Population Registry are requested to do so as soon as possible in order to enable online registration for educational institutions.
If, after updating the address, online registration is still not possible, a designated registration form for new residents (preschool / school) must be completed, according to the desired framework.

*Cancellation of registration for departing residents –
A registration cancellation form / request for a removal confirmation must be completed. A removal confirmation will be sent to you by email after several days.

*Parents of children requiring accessibility accommodations –
In accordance with Ministry of Education guidelines and accessibility regulations, parents of children with disabilities who are entitled to accessibility accommodations may complete early registration for the educational institution their child is expected to attend.
Early registration allows advance preparation for the required adjustments—physical, pedagogical, or otherwise—according to the child’s needs.
A request for early registration may be submitted starting from June of the year preceding the school year for which registration is requested, and up to 15 months prior to the start of the school year.
