Support for Teachers
The Acton is a multi-participant event during which groundbreaking ideas and inventions are created and developed in a pre-determined challenge.
Led by the Efrat Council, the Gush Etzion Council, Matya, Herzog College, and the Psaga Center, the Acton was held for the first time in Efrat in 2009 for teaching staff in the Efrat-Gush Etzion community, on the topic of "How to enable each student in the class to learn optimally using the tools of future-oriented pedagogy".
Schools throughout the region participated, and the winner was Orot Etzion Girls' School in Efrat won with their project: "An application that divides the teaching unit into different forms of learning according to the student’s choice: visual, auditory and motor."
The event was a breakthrough in cooperation between all the educational institutions.
